Fletcher: Champion More Important Than Invincible

Darren Fletcher says Manchester United will not make history with the undefeated, they focus only on the title.

At the time won the treble in 1999, United's unbeaten in 29 matches. And the dramatic victory over Blackpool yesterday to make United can repeat history, if they can beat Aston Villa on Tuesday at Old Trafford tomorrow.

But Fletcher said that the important thing is yesterday's victory could widen the distance to five with Arsenal in the Premier League standings.

"We're not talking about the undefeated record.", he said.

"Our main goal is to win the league.", said Scotland captain this.

"Not lost in a long time makes us very confident, but really we want the Premier League title, that's really our focus.", he added.

"Where should lose but we came out as champions at the end of the season, that's not why.", he concluded.

Would not it be nice if it could pass over undefeated record in 1999 and became a champion at the end of the season?

Or perhaps become champions and unbeaten until the end of the season, a record that is still proud that Arsenal supporter?
