Mu meet Liverpool in FA Cup

London - Manchester United and Liverpool, two of the most successful English club, will compete in the FA Cup third round after the draw held on Sunday.

United, winning the trophy a record 11 times, in January will host arch-rivals from the north, who won the competition in seven opportunities.

Title holders Chelsea will host the team championship (second division), Ipswich Town, champion in 1978, and 10-time winner Arsenal played host to Leeds United, who beat them in the final of 1972.

Former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson will lead the championship team Leicester City against his old club Manchester City.

Teams from smaller leagues FC United, the club established fans of Manchester United and break away from the club because of disturbed over Old Trafford takeover by the Glazer family, will host the team champion, 2008 and Portsmouth if they win the championship rematch against Brighton & Hove Albion.

York City will come to the Premier League team Bolton Wanderers.

The match will be held on the weekend January 8 to 9 with the final at Wembley Stadium on May 14.
